MGMT finishes new album

This is a funny post on some music industry info site. They finished recording with Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, Mogwai, Sparklehorse, The Flaming Lips, Whirlwind Heat). Here's words from the band off the site...

"We’re developing a slick marketing campaign that will paste our feces all over Myspace and the Facebook and get us real hyped with bloggers and “taste makers” so that we can be compared to Radiohead and then disappear within human gestation period time and no one will even recognize us on the streets anymore and we’ll die lonely and in abject despair."
